Welcome to The Wheel

About The Wheel

The Wheel at Quiet Creek is a contemplative walking experience designed to help you slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

Nestled beside the meadow and creek at The Creative Sage Cottage, the Wheel is a sacred circle of stones, symbols, archetypes, animals, elements, and reflections. Each stone carries its own meaning, yet no two journeys are ever the same. There is no prescribed path and no right way to walk. Instead, you are invited to wander, pause, notice, reflect, and follow what calls to you.

Some visitors arrive with a question. Others arrive carrying a challenge, a decision, a dream, or simply a desire for clarity. Many arrive with no agenda at all. Again and again, the Wheel has a way of revealing exactly what is ready to be seen.

A Private Wheel Journey begins with a gentle introduction to the Wheel and the grounds. You will then spend time walking the circle at your own pace, pausing where you feel drawn, noticing which stones call for your attention and which themes seem to emerge. Afterward, we gather together to explore your experience.

This is where the journey deepens.

Drawing from the symbolism of the stones, the order in which they appeared, the places where you lingered, and the themes that surfaced during your walk, I offer an intuitive interpretation designed to help weave the experience into a meaningful story. Together we explore the wisdom, patterns, questions, insights, and invitations that emerged from your path.

Rather than predicting the future or providing fixed answers, the Wheel offers a mirror—reflecting what may already be stirring beneath the surface and inviting a deeper conversation with your own knowing.

Your visit also includes time to enjoy the grounds, walk the creek path, spend quiet moments in Kodesh Cottage, journal, browse the collection of books and oracle decks, and simply be present.

Each Private Wheel Journey concludes with a custom mojo bag created specifically for you, serving as a tangible reminder of the insights, intentions, and wisdom uncovered during your experience.

The Wheel at Quiet Creek is not a class, a workshop, or a traditional reading.

It is an experience.

An invitation to listen.

A conversation with your own soul.

And a reminder that the answers we seek are often waiting quietly within us.

The Wheel at Quiet Creek

How The Wheel Came to Be

    It began in 2022....

The Wheel at Quiet Creek was not created from a blueprint, a tradition, or a formal system.

Its origins can be traced to a deeply meaningful experience I had while visiting Sedona back in October of 2022. During that visit, I participated in a Medicine Wheel walking experience with an Elder named Earl that changed something deep within me—not because of what I was told, but because of what I discovered within myself.

That was the day I knew I was going to build my version of The Wheel back home in Michigan.

What followed was season after season of prayer, reflection, journaling, and quiet listening. Little by little, ideas emerged. Certain symbols appeared repeatedly. Themes surfaced. Stones found their places. The land itself seemed to offer guidance.

Over the course of sixteen months, the Wheel took shape—not as something I planned, but as something I uncovered.

Built by hand and created in conversation with the natural rhythms of this land, the Wheel reflects many of the themes that have guided my own spiritual journey: nature, symbolism, intuition, reflection, personal responsibility, wonder, and the belief that wisdom often reveals itself when we slow down enough to notice.

While every stone has meaning, the Wheel is not intended to tell you what to think or believe.

Instead, it serves as an invitation—a place where curiosity, contemplation, and insight can meet.

My hope is that each person who walks the Wheel discovers something uniquely their own.
